3 tips to make your track house studio visit better:
Ready to take on the music industry with the help of Track House Studio?
Here is my list of do's and don'ts for creating a productive and positive environment when recording.
The energy surrounding the music recording seeps into the music.
This is why we need to set expectations that work for both you (the artist) and Tait (the engineer.)
Without further ado, here are the 3 best tips:
#1. References are always welcome!
You don't need to be confused because you don't speak the same language as trained musicians or producers.
Tait Garett works with artists at every level, he doesn't expect perfection right off the bat.
Having songs or albums to look back on can be helpful.
You should have these with you not only when you talk to Tait for the first time.
#2. Don't over-crowd the studio
Nothing is wrong with bringing a friend or two, but there's no need for a posse.
Too much noise can hurt your music creation process for starters!
Making a record requires concentration and focus, and the experience is ruined by a group of people making a racket.
Some friends and significant others may get unhappy and pessimistic due to the monotony of the studio.
Ask them to leave respectfully, because in the end, you're paying for a professional service.
Just text Tait in advance if you're bringing anybody to the studio with you!
#3. Go with the flow
Making a record isn't a natural process, even if you're doing live-to-tape recording of your rap.
There's no reason to put yourself in a box - just feel the vibes!
Utilize your time in the studio to experiment, perhaps by using various equipment.
Track House Studio has an ethos of exploration in music.
Accepting new styles and ignoring irrational fears can give depth and character.
